Build Green Virgniia These VSBN-organized events bring nationally known speakers on Green Design and Sustainable Development to Virginia's business community, highlight Green Building and Green Job activity in the Commonwealth, and bring together building design, construction and operations professionals in targeted building sectors, such as K-12 schools and universities.

Past events have included

•	Bioregional's One Planet Living presentation in June 2008;
•	The Carbon Trading/Green Building Connection event held in March 2008; and the
•	Green Jobs Fair, held in February 2009.

•	Greening Virginia Universities and Colleges Conference. Held October 22, 2009 at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. This annual event, now in its fourth year, features sustainable policies, green operations, high performance buildings, and Green curricula information from Virginia universities and colleges, including Green Job training currently being developed by community colleges. •	The State of High Performance K-12 Schools in Virginia Conference. Next conference is May, 2010. The fourth event was held in May 2009. The conference features best practices that are being adopted in Virginia K-12 school districts to successfully carry out energy management strategies and Green Building policies.
