Wendy M. Berhman
Wendy M.
Berhman, AICP, has a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Masters in Environmental Planning and began her career in 1991 as an Architect
with the National Park Service. She has working knowledge and experience in planning, design and construction supervision and is a
certified planner with the American Planning Association.
Currently, Wendy works for the National Park Service Concession Program. This program is responsible for managing is responsible for
developing, implementing and administering the NPS Concession Environmental Management Program. In this position, her program provides
guidance and technical assistance to approximately 590 businesses (i.e., concessioners) operating in 132 national parks and is
responsible for integrating concepts of environmental management, stewardship and sustainability into business planning, operations and
management.
