Annette Osso
Annette Osso serves as the Executive Director of Virginia Housing and the Environment Network, a state-wide
non-profit organization engaged in workshops, training, and networking for the construction industry, affordable housing organizations,
and local and state government in the areas of Green Building and Sustainable Development. Her background includes: Board of Directors,
Sustainable Washington Alliance; Environmental Program Manager, Public Technology, Inc; Project Manager for the Sustainable Building
Technical Manual, produced by Public Technology, Inc. and US Green Building Council, U.S. DOE and US EPA ; Executive Director of the
National Association of State Energy Officials; Executive Director of the Overland Park, Oregon Neighborhood Housing Services; Program
Director, Weatherization Workshops, Elliot Energy House, Portland, Oregon; Board of Directors, Solar Oregon Lobby; Energy Researcher
and Author of The Local Energy Production Handbook, National Association of Counties; and Energy Staff, Environmental Action Foundation.
Annette Osso received a Masters Degree and undergraduate degree in Anthropology from George Washington University.
