Joe Rentfro

Joe Rentfro is the Vice President of Business Development for ARAMARK Corporation's Parks & Resorts division. Operating on a national basis, Joe is the sole person charged with the responsibility to grow ARAMARK's Parks & Resorts business, including lodging, marina, retail, F&B, and tour operations. ARAMARK first contracted with the NPS in 1972 at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, and has expanded its tourism business over the last three decades, which currently consists of fifteen properties located in ten states - including partnerships with the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, several State agencies, one City Park system, and private property owners. In addition, as a member of the Parks & Resorts Executive Team, Joe is actively involved in the design, development and implementation of this division's strategic plan, operating plans, annual operating budgets, and marketing plans.

Prior to joining ARAMARK, Joe spent nearly a decade working for Marriott Corporation in a variety of positions. His career with Marriott started in their Financial Feasibility & Market Planning department, followed by service to the company as a franchise development representative in both the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the U.S., and lastly - as the Vice President of Lodging Development, where he led the corporate real estate development, branding, and franchise property strategies within 8 southeastern states.

Joe holds a bachelors degree from the College of Agriculture at Texas A&M University and a Masters in Business from Georgia Tech. He's a member of the Board of Director's for the National Parks Hospitality Association - and currently serving as the Association's Secretary. Joe and his wife have two sons, and hope to have the opportunity to more actively participate in her family's "organic certified" ranch in the Davis Mountains of West Texas in the future.
