Sarika Sangwan
Sarika Sangwan
is the Project Manager of the CERES Green Hotel Initiative and Conference Coordinator. Ms. Sangwan manages the Green Hotel Initiative
(GHI), a project working to build market demand for environmentally responsible hotels. In her additional role as CERES Conference
Coordinator, Ms. Sangwan organizes the CERES Annual Conference, and works with CERES host hotels to advance the objectives of the GHI.
Prior to CERES, Ms. Sangwan worked as a litigation support consultant with Peterson Consulting in New York City. As a consultant,
Sarika was responsible for resolving claims dealing with such issues as breach of fiduciary duty by directors and officers and analysis
of inappropriate risk in discretionary trading accounts. Sarika graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University
of Michigan Business School, earning class honors. Her emphasis was in finance, accounting and international business. While an
undergraduate, she also studied at Hebrew University in Israel, and at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
